Paul Bagyenda’s main expertise is in the design and implementation of distributed and telco-grade software applications.
Paul has over 20 years experience in developing and deploying telecom software infrastructure applications. In 1998 he co-founded Digital Solutions, a leading software applications firm in East Africa. In 2001 he co-founded SMS Media, the first mobile content company in East Africa. He has lead simcard management projects in Asia (Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore), Africa (Ivory Coast, Swaziland, Madagascar) and the Caribbean (Dominican Republic) deploying software for remote simcard management in large networks. He has also consulted on several ICT projects in Africa for the World Bank in Uganda, Democratic Governance Facility in Uganda, DANIDA in Uganda, among others.
Paul studied Computer Science at Princeton University and Cambridge University.
